#The fund will support the repair, upgrade and enhancement of community centres, with eligible works including roof repairs, heating and electrical upgrades, accessibility improvements, kitchen and stage facilities, safety works such as fire alarms and exits, and energy efficiency measures.

Deputy O’Meara said:
“Community centres are at the heart of our towns and villages. They are the places where people come together, and when we invest in them, the whole community benefits. I would strongly encourage groups in Tipperary, Kilkenny and beyond to consider applying for this funding.”

There are two levels of funding available, with grants ranging from €10,000 to €25,000 for smaller projects, and €25,000 up to €100,000 for larger scale works.

Deputy O’Meara added:

It is important that groups start preparing now so they are in a strong position to apply.”Applications will open on 29 May 2026 and close on 13 July 2026.
