Meet Naoise
Naoise Ó Cearúil is a native of Maynooth and has been working for Kildare North for many years. He first became a public representative on his election to Kildare County Council in 2014. He served on the council until his election to the Dáil and was mayor of Kildare between 2021 and 2022.
Deputy Ó Cearúil studied Business and Law at NUI Maynooth and served as President of the Student Law Society, President of MU Cuallacht na Gaeilge, and Deputy President of the Students Union during his time there.
Prior to his election to the Dáil, Naoise held various roles at several tech firms, such as Gong and Zendesk. Naoise is also a native Irish speaker and worked as a secondary school Irish teacher.
Deputy Ó Cearúil is committed to helping all communities, groups, and individuals in the constituency. His main priorities are education, job creation, older people, young people, and helping deal with day-to-day problems that people face.
