Fianna Fáil will hold an Education Policy Conference on Saturday November 12th in Mary immaculate College Limerick, South Circular Road, Limerick, considering the future of education in Ireland and how to best deliver equality, opportunity and reform.

 

Education has played a key role in the development of the Irish state, our society and economy. The Irish education system is one of the strongest in Europe and indeed across the world, and it will continue to be a central force in tackling the challenges faced by Ireland. Hosted by Minister for Education, Norma Foley TD and Minister of State for Skills and Further Education, Niall Collins TD, the conference will provide an overview of various policy areas and the initiatives which have been undertaken in them. The Conference will give members the opportunity to feed into policy and discuss and debate the issues.

 

Starting at 10:00am, there will be a number of engaging panel discussions with party spokespeople and external experts. Refreshments will be provided on conclusion at 1pm. All members are welcome, please register using the form on this page.
