Our Message
-
Expanding access and excellence in further and higher education has been a core priority for Fianna Fáil for much of the party’s history.
-
We have built on this since 2020 through a sustained commitment to the development of our universities, colleges and training programmes.
-
Ireland’s continued social and economic progress relies on a skilled workforce, and we are focused on equipping young people and those returning to education with the necessary tools to achieve this. It is why in 2020, Fianna Fáil established a dedicated Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, and it is why we are allocating €5.3 billion to the Department in 2027.
