 Our Message

  • During and since the pandemic Fianna Fáil have implemented a national programme for expanding access, quality and new services in our health system. The benefit of this is being seen in terms of patient outcomes and the addressing of long-neglected areas.

  • Health will once again benefit from increased funding for critical services. New public health measures, like the Shingles Vaccine Programme, will benefit thousands. The further systematic extension of mental health services will proceed.

  • Because we believe in helping people to be at home as long as possible the expansion of home help support has been sustained through recent years and this will continue.

  • Health in 2027 will be by far the most funded public service area a total health allocation of €29.1 billion.
