We discussed the challenges facing the Irish language community, including the funding issues which stakeholders are experiencing.   “A new round of funding for Foras na Gaeilge will be announced for 2021 – 2024. The members from County Monaghan expressed the need for additional funding. I will now discuss these issues with my colleagues in Government, including Minister Martin.   “Muineachán le Gaeilge do tremendous work in promoting the Irish language in the county and their wider organisation nationwide.
