Meet Willie

Willie was born in Limerick in November 1952 and is married to Geraldine Kennedy. He was educated at the Patrician Brothers College, Ballyfin, Co. Laois before going on to study at UCD, the Kings Inns and the Institute of Certified Accountants (BCL, LLM, BL, Certified Accountant). Willie has served as Minister of State and is former accountant. First elected February 1982, he has been continuously re-elected at each subsequent election since.
