Meet Mary Rose

I have lived locally all my life taking an active role within the community as a scout leader, in theatre and through my membership of the Leo Club and Lions Club. I have been an active member locally of Fianna Fáil since joining Ográ at the age of 16.

I am a past pupil of Eglantine NS and St. Aloysius Secondary School and received a Diploma in Human Resource Management from UCC. My early working days were in the family retail business. I then became Office Manager with Roberts Corporate & Private Accountants. In 2004 I joined the Chartered Accountants Ireland as Regional Development Co-Ordinator in Cork.

In more recent years as Parliamentary Assistant to Fianna Fáil Leader Micheál Martin, I am fully aware of the difficulties facing people, the impact of cuts to services, increased taxes and charges etc. I work assisting individuals, community groups, schools, businesses and sporting organisations throughout the community.
