Meet Sheila

My name is Sheila O’ Callaghan. I am a councillor in the Cobh Municipal District, within Cork County Council. I was co-opted to this position on 24th Feb. 2020.
I was born and raised in Glanmire, close to Cork City. I attended Upper Glanmire N.S. then progressed to Colaiste an Phiarsaigh and St. Aloysius Cork.
I live and work on our family farm in Watergrasshill with my husband and three adult children. I have been involved in many organisations, Macra, Ladies Football and Community Association but politics has always been an integral part of my life.
