Meet Keith

Keith is Sligo County Council’s youngest councillor representing the Ballymote, Tubbercurry and West Sligo area. He attended Colaiste Muire, Ballymote before graduating from NUI Galway with a BA and Postgraduate Diploma in Education.

Keith has a long track record of community involvement in groups such as the GAA where he is a referee, local club member and player as well as being Sligo GAA’s current Irish & Cultural Officer. He has been involved in local politics for a number of years and previously served as Director of Elections for Deputy Eamon Scanlon TD, Ógra Fianna Fáil’s National Council Chairman and its current International Officer.

As one of the countries youngest councillors, Keith hopes to represent every age group to help get proper services and investment for their local communities.
