My Priorities
To ease planning restrictions, especially for single rural houses and enterprise and industrial units.
Due to the high scenic rating of Connemara, and Aran and Boffin Islands, obtaining permission for single rural houses is very difficult also for enterprise and industrial units in rural areas. This is important in order to stem rural population decline.
Maintainence of the level of provision of social houses and house repair grants for the elderly and disabled
The upgrading of water treatment systems and the provision of sewerage systems.
To maintain the level of support for infrastructure – roads, piers, broadband and a new high voltage power line for Connemara
