I’m Padraig Cawley, I am nineteen years old and proud to be from Sligo. I joined Fianna Fáil because I believe in the progressive, republican fundamentals of our great party. I believe Fianna Fáil is the only party that can make landmark reforms that deliver for all the people of Ireland. I am proud that we are the republican party, the party of education, the party that stands for the ordinary person, I am proud to be a member of Fianna Fáil.
My motto in Ógra is to remember that Ógra isn’t just a college society, Ógra is a nationwide organisation. As your Connacht Organiser on the COB of Ógra Fianna Fáil I will work on three key areas.
- I will work with the officer board in each area to further grow in areas that require improvement and maintain the positive organisation we already have.
- I will work on the COB to support our Ógra candidates progress in their political journey in the upcoming elections.
- I will be the voice of the members in Connacht to raise any issues of regional significance that arise on the COB such as transport infrastructure and agriculture.
