My name is Max Grasso; I’m a student at Trinity College Dublin with a great passion for education and youth representation in Ireland. I first got involved in politics during TY work experience with my local TD, Cormac Devlin. It was during this time that I found out about Ógra and how it is an effective way of making a difference in young people’s lives.
The future I envisage for Ógra is one of inclusivity and modernity. I plan to achieve this by expanding our membership to encompass people from all walks of life in our vibrant Dublin society. This would allow us to represent a plurality of views and values that are important to the youth of Ireland today. I also think we need to bring our membership closer to our local areas, where we can help build a strong Fianna Fáil organisation in our constituencies.
Fianna Fáil’s history in Dublin is one of continued and sustained progress. I want to encourage young people to get involved and be included in the voice of the largest party in national and local government.
If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to get in contact with me.
