My name is Maria Wall, and I am the National Policy Director of Ógra Fianna Fáil. I’m originally from Mooncoin in Kilkenny but now based in West Cork, and I bring my rural roots together with fresh energy for politics. I studied Agricultural Science in UCD and I’m now doing a Master’s in Agricultural Extension and Innovation, which ties in with my passion for rural Ireland and new ideas.
I’ve always been involved in my community, and I really believe politics should make a real difference in people’s everyday lives. I care a lot about giving young people a stronger voice, supporting rural communities, and pushing for better public services.
In my role with Ógra, I take a hands-on approach and I’m never afraid to roll up my sleeves and get stuck in. I’m passionate about what I do, and I’m committed to shaping policy that helps build a fairer, brighter Ireland for the next generation.
