My name is Maria Wall and I’m from Mooncoin, Co. Kilkenny. I’m in final year of my BAgrSc Dairy Business degree in UCD. I’m the chairperson of Kilkenny Ógra and the Vice-Chairperson of the Kevin Barry Cumann UCD. I’ve also previously served as the PRO for the KBC too.
As National Campaigns & Events Director I want to:
1. Emphasis Republican values – Showcase to our peers who the real Republican Party is through events based around Irish Unity and show we are a party of action, not just talk.
2. Pragmatic Campaigns – We need to run pragmatic campaigns that have clear research, plan and desired results. We need to be a driving force behind youth politics and make change.
3. Regional Events – A monthly social event in each region will allow for members outside of college units to get more involved and increase retention.
4. Monster Canvasses – Support Ógra LE2024 candidates through monster canvasses across the country.
