Liam Gleeson - Dublin Organiser

My name is Liam Gleeson and I am a 22-year-old from Glasnevin, Dublin. I'm currently studying history and politics at UCD and I am the Dublin Organiser for Ógra Fianna Fáil. I first got involved in Ógra back in 2017 and since then I have played an active part in many different political campaigns ranging from local, European and general elections.

Dublin will be of critical importance in the months and years ahead as the local election approach, and Ógra members will play a leading role in these campaigns. That's why my term as Dublin Organiser will have three core principles, strengthening Dublin, the craic and taking over. I will work tirelessly to get units up and running and ensure Ógra members plan an active part in their local senior party organisations.

Strengthening Dublin will be a core principle during my time as Dublin organiser, including getting inactive units up and running.

The social side of Ógra can't be understated and regular social and cultural events will be the hallmark of my term as Dublin Organiser.

Finally, taking over. It's only by Ógra members contesting positions and playing a more active part in the senior party can we bring about change, and I feel my experiences means that I am ideally-suited to this task.

If anyone wants to get in contact with me, please do not hesitate in emailing me.
