My name is Leanne Mallen, and I am from Kildare but living in Galway. It is an honour to serve as Uachtarán Ógra Fianna Fáil. I first became active in youth politics several years ago, driven by my passion for giving young people a voice in decisions that affect them.
I’m currently a final-year student at Mary Immaculate College, training to become a post-primary teacher of Irish and Business. Alongside my studies, I have gained experience in both the voluntary and public sectors, and in 2024, I successfully managed a local election campaign, an experience that strengthened my commitment to public service and youth representation.
As Uachtarán, my priorities are to champion youth voice and inclusive opportunities for young people, ensuring that Ógra continues to be a welcoming, active, and inspiring movement across Ireland.
