My name is Eimhin Boland, and I am proud to be serving on the Central Officer Board of Ógra Fianna Fáil as your Press Officer. I am from Ferbane, County Offaly and currently work with Laois & Offaly Education and Training Board, where I have a particular interest in further education and training opportunities for young people, especially early school leavers.
I have been an active member of Ógra for many years, previously serving as Chair of Offaly Ógra and TUS Athlone Ógra, as well as Leinster Organiser from 2016 - 2017. Those roles gave me the opportunity to meet members right across the country and see the difference Ógra can make when we’re active, connected and working together.
As Press Officer, my goal is to showcase the energy and ideas of our members nationwide and ensure Ógra’s voice is heard loudly and clearly. I work closely with my fellow Central Officer Board members to promote national events, amplify the work of local units, and ensure that our collective voice reaches young people across the country. By combining strong teamwork with clear and engaging communications, I want to make sure that Ógra’s message is not only heard, but represents the passion, values and vision of our membership - and of young people in our country.
