Caoilinn Gaughan is ainm dom agus is dalta Gnó agus Gearmánach mé i gColáiste na Tríonóide. Táim 20 bliain d’aois agus is as Maigh Eo mé. Feidhmím mar rúnaí don Chumannn Wolfe Tone. Ba mhaith liom áit na Gaeilge agus an chultúir a dhaingniú i gcroílár ár n-eagraíochta.
I am passionate about the Irish language and all aspects of our culture. As a two-time sean-nós singing Connacht Fleadh champion, as well as a keen bodhrán player, Irish traditional music is extremely important to me. I have been a committed member of my Comhaltas branch for many years and have represented my local GAA club, Castlebar Mitchels, in Scór na nÓg.
As Gaeilge & Culture Officer, I feel that it is important for members to be able to embrace all aspects of their cultural identity, and I want to ensure that they are given every opportunity to do so.

- I will make Irish classes available to members to allow them to improve their Irish language skills.
- I will organise a culture night in each region to ensure that cultural events are equally accessible to members throughout the country.
- I have spent a lot of time in the Connemara Gaeltacht region and would like to provide others with the chance to have this experience in the form of an overnight trip to the Gaeltacht.
- I am committed to ensuring that Irish has an increased social media presence within Ógra Fhianna Fáil, enabling members to interact with the language on a regular basis.
