My name is Brian Crehan from Newtownmoneenluggagh in County Kildare. I am 23 years of age, I'm currently studying English and History in Carlow and work as a Musicianer. I joined Ógra Fianna Fáil in 2015 after working locally on the Marriage Equality referendum, I like many young people for the first time saw how Politics can be a vehicle to make real change in people's lives. I come from a very republican household so when I saw the words "An Ireland for All" they really resonated with me when I thought about the Ireland I wanted to help shape!
My Mammy works in special education and some of my family are members of the disabled community, that's why I stood to become Ógras Equality officer because I know first hand what it's like when people take a one size fits all approach to things.
The real draíocht of Ógra from my experience is that no matter if you have a solution to an issue that will help 10, 100, 1000 or 1 million people the members of Ógra always get behind a worthy cause.
Be it helping form the party's LGBT+ Network, various charity fundraisers or campaigning on various issues you can rely on Ógra to fight for an Ireland for All!
