-Se2 expansions is great news for Waterford-

Fianna Fáil TD for Waterford, Mary Butler has today welcomed the announcement by Se2 that it plans to double its workforce in Waterford from 70 to 135 over the next three to four years.

“This is fantastic news for the company, and Waterford, and shows that Waterford is a leading choice for companies looking for a high-quality workforce,” said the Portlaw Deputy.

“The Life and Pensions Administrator is an important employer in the Waterford region, ensuring high-quality jobs, and I’m thrilled that they are committing to invest in our county.”

“This is a much-needed boost for the County, and should be used as a way to kick-start a new strategic campaign by the Government, and the IDA, to attract greater levels of investment in Co. Waterford,” added Butler.

“There are many highly qualified, hard-working and skilled people in Waterford, and the South East. The announcement by Se2 is proof that companies will commit to Waterford. The Government now needs to show its commitment to Waterford in the same way.

“Minister Mitchell O’Connor and her Department officials must ensure that these jobs announcements become the norm for the people of Waterford,” concluded Butler.
