Senator for Thomas Byrne has welcomed funding of €40,000 for the design and construction of two bus stops at Rath Cross that will be used to service the 130, 105 and 109A Bus Éireann routes.
This funding from the Department of Transport to Meath County Council will allow for the design and construction of two bus stops which will serve the busy retail park and adjoining industrial park.
‘This is positive news for the area and for commuters including students using the 109A to travel to Dublin City University and people travelling to the Airport and into the city on the 105,’ said Senator Byrne.
‘In addition, I welcome the funding for the upgrade of two bus stops in Dunshaughlin, inbound at Mitchells Cross again aiding commuters to Dublin City and the Airport.
