Senator Thomas Byrne today expressed his delight at An Bord Pleanála’s decision to grant planning permission for the extension to Ratoath College.
“The initial refusal of planning permission by Meath County Council caused a lot of upset and concern among parents, staff and children. I lobbied hard and made a number of representations in relation to this to an An Bord Pleanála. I have been very concerned about this situation for some time”, Senator Byrne stated.
“It is hoped that this will allow the college to cater for 425 new students so today’s news is absolutely fantastic.
“I would like to congratulate Ratoath College and wish them, their staff and their students the very best of luck in the years to come,” Senator Byrne concluded.
