Fianna Fáil has selected Mr. John Joe Culloty to replace Deputy Tom Fleming at Monday’s meeting of Kerry County Council.
Mr. Culloty lives in Knocknaskeha and is originally from the Currow parish/ Scartaglen area.
A building contractor by trade, Mr. Culloty is also involved in the Rural Development Association and has been helping out with the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle for many years.
Mr. Culloty will represent the Killarney Electoral Area on Kerry County Council.
Speaking following his selection by Fianna Fáil, Mr. Culloty said, “It is a great honour to have been selected by Fianna Fáil to represent the people of the Killarney Electoral Area. I would like to assure people from Killarney, Castleisland, Kilgarvan, Farranfore, Headford, Kilcummin, Scartagle, Currow and all the other areas in the Killarney Electoral Area that I will be available to help them with any problems they might have.”
“I also want to help provide a strong presence for Fianna Fáil in the area and I will endeavour to bring about the renewal of the party in Killarney and throughout Kerry South,” Mr. Culloty concluded.
