Meath Fianna Fáil Senator, Thomas Byrne has today urged Meath Community & Voluntary groups and organisations to apply to the ‘Thank You Fund’ from Coca Cola for funding for their activities.
The fund has been set up by Coca Cola Ireland on conjunction with The Wheel – an organisation set up to represent community and voluntary organisations in Ireland to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the first sale of Coke in Atlanta, USA.
A total of €125,000 is on offer to various projects. Ten Prizes of €10,000 along with five prizes of €5,000. Projects must aim to address one of the following three objectives. Social and Education Programmes aimed at young people, Healthy and Active Lifestyles and Environmental Leadership.
