Senator Thomas Byrne is today advising motorists intending to use the L-5107 road at Flemingstown between its junction with the L-5015-13 and its junction with the R125 at Lagore Litter, that it will be temporarily closed between Monday 27th June and Friday 1stJuly. The road is being closed at these locations in order to facilitate the Eirgrid East – West Interconnector Project.
Traffic Diversions will be put in place for the duration of the road closure. For motorists travelling south on this road, they should continue along the L5015 via Rackenstown to the R125. Turn left onto the R125 towards Ratoath and continue to Donnelly’s crossroads at the south end of the closed road.
For those travelling north, they should Travel north-west along the R125 towards Dunshaughlin and take the first turn on the right onto the L5015 to Flemingtown. Continue to Flemingtown to arrive at the north end of the closed road.
‘I would urge local residents to make themselves aware of the route diversions ahead of the road closure to minimise disruption to their daily lives. Meath County Council have advised me that access for residents and property holders on the road affected will be facilitated throughout the road closure’ concluded Senator Byrne.
