Niamh Smyth TD, Fianna Fáil’s spokesperson on Arts and Heritage, is undertaking a major review of policy for the arts. Fianna Fáil believes the arts are an essential part of all our lives, enriching and empowering us in a democratic society. Access to and participation in the arts must be available to all citizens.
Niamh will host an arts consultation at Claregalway Castle, Claregalway, Co. Galway on 23rd March 2018 at 2pm. This is part of a series of regional consultations being held, allowing Niamh to listen to a wide range of people working in and interested in the arts.
Niamh is embarking on a series of regional consultations where she is meeting and listening to a wide range of people working in the arts. Meetings are planned for Dublin, Cavan, Galway, Kildare, and Cork in the coming weeks.
