Trim Town Council
Vincent McHugh is married to Frances with three children Vincent, Felix, Aileen and lives at Laracor, Trim. He currently works as a research technician at Teagasc Beef Research Centre in Grange. He is a committed member of town council since 1991 and is a former Chairman. He has worked tirelessly to enhance the lives of Trim people. He is an executive member of the Association of Municipal Authorities of Ireland. This group is drawn from members of the local authorities around the country Vincent was chairman of the host town committee during the highly successful Special Olympics in 2003 where Trim hosted Botswana. He is heavily involved in community groups in Trim. For example, he is a long-time member of Meath Rehab and Trim Golf Club, where is an executive committee member, health and safety officer and fire officer.
