Personal Details

Born in Mount Temple, Moate, County Westmeath. After leaving school, I went on to serve my time as a motor mechanic. My next career move was into sales within the motor trade. From there, I became a full-time musician/singer (alias TR Dallas) which I continue to do. From the age of 15 I had an interest in politics. In 1999, I was elected to Westmeath County Council representing the people of South Westmeath-Athlone Electoral Area. I am currently serving on Westmeath VEC Committee and at present I am Deputy Mayor of Westmeath County Council. For many years I have given my time to fund-raising for various charities, locally and nationally, which is something that gives me great pleasure to do.
