My name is Sylvia Cooney-Sheehan and I have been
a public representative on Carrick-on-Suir’s Town
Council for the last ten years.
I was the first woman to
be elected in 1999 to Carrick’s Town Council and returned
in 2004. That year I first ran for Tipp. County
Council.
I know that during the last ten years I have
been a true representative to the people of Carrick-on-
Suir and stood firm on important issues that proved
challenging to the members of the Council.
If I am reelected
to the town council and elected to South Tipp
County Council I promise to be your strong voice on
these Councils.
Elected to South Tipperary County Council and re-elected to Carrick-On-Suir Town Council, June 2009.
