Sean is married to Tish and they have 3 children, Mark, Eileen & Janine. Co-opted onto Kells Town Council in 2002, Sean served as Cathaoirleach in 2003/04 and was re-elected to the Council in 2004.
A partner in a long established family practice of Accountancy and Taxation Advisors based in Rockfield, Kells, Sean is currently Treasurer of the Kells Vincent De Paul Hall/Theatre Committee and a member of the Kells Parish Church Finance Committee. He is a founding and current member of Sunshine Community Childcare, a company established to provide an affordable childcare facility in Kells.
A former Parents Representative on the Board of Management of Our Lady's of Mercy Primary School in Kells, Sean was also on the Steering Committee of Kells Enterprise Centre and a member of St Colmcilles Church Refurbishment Committee. Sean is a member of Gaeil Colmcille C.L.G., is the Kells representative on the Leinster Councillors Forum of Fianna Fáil and has been actively involved with many local charitable fund raising appeals.
