Kildare County Council
Newbridge Town Council
Experience, commitment and enthusiasm for local politics are the key qualities we need in our Councillors in these tough economic times. From Rathangan, living in Newbridge, Fiona O`Loughlin has these qualities in abundance and has a strong proven record in local delivery. A Primary School teacher, Fiona is presently combining her role as a Public Representative with ensuring that the very positive legacy of the 2003 Special Olympics World Games Host Town Programme lives on in our Communities and towns, and sharing that with the other 26 countries in the European union. Fiona is a very keen supporter and promoter of the excellent community, voluntary and sporting organizations and groups in our area. Issues of particular concern for her are sustainable job creation, facilities for young people, traffic and road safety management, sustainable development with proper infrastructure, Environmental protection and commuter issues. “Together we must work towards ensuring that our communities are good places to live, inclusive and safe for all.”
