Eugene works as a producer and presenter with the popular radio station S.S.I.N.S.
Political Record
Eugene Murphy was first elected to Roscommon County Council in 1985 and was re-elected in 1991 and 1999. In November 2000 he failed by one vote to win the General Election convention 2000.
Eugene is heavily involved in the planning debate and chairs the R.A.P.P. Group in Co.Roscommon. He is also involved in many other voluntary organizations.
He feels that the Government decision to prevent Oireachtas members from being members of Local Authorities is a correct one.
