Cllr. Cormac Devlin is the youngest Councillor ever elected in the County of Dún Laoghaire Rathdown. He was elected on his first attempt contesting a local authority election and he took the second of six seats in the Dún Laoghaire Local Electoral Area (LEA). He is the only Fianna Fáil Councillor in the Dún Laoghaire Local Electoral Area. Having joined Fianna Fáil in late 1996 Cormac worked on many campaigns while also campaigning in the 1997, 2002 & 2007 General Elections. He was also an active member of Ógra in Dún Laoghaire where he served as secretary for many years.
Cormac is the only Councillor in the Dún Laoghaire LEA who has a website - www.cormacdevlin.com This acts as an informative tool for local residents. Cormac encourages Dún Laoghaire residents who would like to receive email up-dates on issues concerning them in their locality.
