Political Record

Elected to Mayo County Council in 1991, heading the poll in the Ballina Electoral Area. Re-elected in 1999 and exceeded the quote by 350 votes, once again heading the poll.
Chairman of Library Committee and Housing Committee.
Became the first female Cathaoirleach of Mayo CC from 1991/2 and received tremendous respect and publicity for this.
She is the only member of the Council to continue with her two clinics a week since election.
Member of the Roads SPC and am proud to see the N26 commenced into Ballina.
