HAITI APPEAL
To date, over €10,000 has been raised in the Ógra Haiti Appeal for Concern's emergency relief efforts. Units all around the country have participated in fundraising drives from bag packing to street collecting in our cities and towns. It's still not too late to do some fundraising for this important cause, please contact haiti-appeal@ogra.ie for more information.
YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT
Ógra's new Youth Unemployment policy proposal has been completed and will be launched in the coming days. On Friday last, Joseph O'Neill Leas Cathaoirleach, John Regan Policy Coordinator, and Mark Curley Campaigns Coordinator met with Mary Hanafin T.D., Minister for Social and Familiy Affairs to pitch the proposal on behalf of Ógra Fianna Fáil. 1.30-3pm Open session for all other Policy motions
Debate and discussion on policy motions put forward by members
3-4pm Town Hall meeting
In the spirit of accountability and transparency, the National Youth Committee members will make themselves available to Ogra members to answer questions on the direction of Ogra
