Delivering better healthcare
Delivering better and improved care in our health service and putting patients first is Fianna Fáil’s priority. We are going to focus on what needs to be delivered and what is deliverable in the primary care and hospital sector. We will be ambitious but realistic but all our actions will be about providing a better health service for patients in their communities and in the country’s hospitals.
Fianna Fáil believes that the Sláintecare report provides a pathway on how the health services should be delivered. This will take time as well as investment, and will also require staff in the health services to agree to the reform measures. There is an obvious need to build capacity in our health services to meet both current and future demands and we are committed to working to achieve this.
