N26 to get vital funding - Calleary

Fianna Fail candidate for Mayo, Dara Calleary, has said that he is confident the Government will deliver vital funding for work on the N26.

“I have received strong indications in the last few days that the Department of Transport will deliver further finance for the N26 in the next week or two,” said Mr Calleary.

“Along with my Fianna Fail colleagues, I have been working hard on this issue over the last number if months and I am now hopeful that the vital funding for the extension of the N26 will now be forthcoming.

“We need this cash injection to move on to the CPO stage of the second phase of the route, from Mountfalcon to Bohola,” he said.
