By car sharing just once every week, employee fuel costs can be reduced by 20% and employer space requirement by 20%. This was the announcement made today at the launch of Smarter Travel Workplaces Programme by the Minister for Transport Noel Dempsey at an event hosted jointly by the Department of Transport, National Transport Authority, Business in the Community Ireland and ESB.
