Over 4,000 Meath farmers to get Single Farm Payment – Brady

"I know that my colleague the Minister for Agriculture Brendan Smith TD highlighted the difficulties being experienced by Irish farmers and fought hard to be able to make advance payments to alleviate these stresses."

"I am delighted at Minister Smith's success and that the advance payment will be at an unprecedented 70%."

"The remaining 30% of the Single Farm Payment will be issued from the 1st of December."

"Any Meath farmers who have had any queries from the Department of Agriculture regarding their payments should ensure that they reply as quickly as possible so there is no delay in issuing the payments."
