O’Connor secures funding commitment for Old Bawn school works

Dublin South West T.D. Charlie O’Connor has welcomed the funding commitment for essential works at Scoil Maelruain Junior school in Old Bawn.

“I’m pleased to confirm that the Minister for Education and Skills Mary Coughlan has sanctioned funding for roof repairs at Scoil Maelruain in Old Bawn under the Contingency Approvals for 2010.”

“This is important repair work for Scoil Maelruain’s at this time of year.  The Building Unit of the Department is making contact with the school about the funding amount approved and I look forward to seeing the project progressed as soon as possible.”
