O’Connor condemns Templeogue kidnap

Dublin South West T.D. Charlie O’Connor has condemned as “completely reprehensible” the kidnap of a woman in Templeogue by an armed gang.

“I am appalled to hear of this attack on a family living in Templeogue overnight.  There is no place in society for such abductions and violence as a means to obtain money from financial institutions and I condemn these actions in the strongest possible terms,” said Deputy O’Connor.

“My thoughts go out to the couple involved and I wish them both a speedy recovery from what must have been a deeply traumatic event.”
