Key Element of FG Plan significantly exposed - Andrews

In the Examiner today, one of the key elements of FG cynical election campaign has been significantly exposed and Dr. Reilly has finally admitted this,” according to Fianna Fáil Spokesperson on Health Barry Andrews TD.

Following the revelation yesterday that FG are already backsliding on electoral promises such as abolishing the Seanad and Minsterial cars, today’s information seriously undermines the credibility of FG and their leader Enda Kenny. The reality is that the ‘Faircare’ proposal is not workable and will seriously undermine the delivery of health services to patients.

Independent research on the Dutch health System has criticised the system as ‘not effective and not efficient’ .The analysis also showed it increased costs by over €1billion euro  per year for hospitals .

Amazingly the only response from Dr James Reilly, the man who wishes to be Minister for Health, when asked was “this would have to be looked at”.

This simply not good enough and I am calling on Dr. Reilly and Enda Kenny to immediately provide clear, concise and costed explanations on the questions that remain unanswered in relation to suggested flaws in their proposals.
