Grant for SVDP Waterford – Kenneally

SVDP Waterford is to receive €1,430.40 under the Scheme of Community Support for Older People according to Local TD Brendan Kenneally.

The funding will be used to provide security measures for older people such as personal alarms, smoke detectors and security lighting.

“This is the latest round of funding announced under this scheme and I’m delighted another Waterford group has received a grant,” said Deputy Kenneally. “The SVDP Waterford are a fantastic organisation who do a lot of good work and I know they will use this funding wisely for the benefit of the older people in our community,” he concluded.
