Funding secured for Family Resource Centres in Budget 2010 – Fleming

Laois Fianna Fail TD, Sean Fleming has welcomed the news that funding for Family Resource Centres will be secured in Budget 2010.

“The Minister for Social and Family Affairs outlined the news that funding of €33.7 million for Family Resource Centres and Family Support Agency Programmes will be secured in this Budget.”

“This is very welcome news for the Knockmay Family Resource Centre in Portlaoise which is the only Family Resource Centre in Laois.”

“I would like to commend the workers and volunteers at Knockmay Family Resource Centre for the incredible support that they give to local families,” concluded Deputy Fleming.
