St. Oliver’s National School in Killarney is to receive funding for yard works according to local TD John O’Donoghue. The funding is being made available by the Department of Education and Science under the contingency approvals.
“I hope the funding will be drawn down quickly so that St. Oliver’s National School can get the yard works under way soon,” said Deputy O’Donoghue. “Clearly a lot of work needs to be done so I hope this funding will help the school and that it will give the students and staff better facilities for use once the work is done.”
“I believe Department officials will be making contact with St. Oliver’s on this matter soon so let’s hope things progress quickly from there,” Deputy O’Donoghue concluded.
