Minister for Lifelong Learning, Seán Haughey TD, has welcomed the announcement that the Department of Social Protection will continue to support a number of organisations in Dublin North Central for a further three years under its Community Services Programme.
“Northside Facilities Services Ltd., operating from Northside Enterprise Centre, will receive €127,165 while Northside Security Services Ltd. in the Coolock Development Centre is being allocated €222,330. This is great news for these organisations which are both based on Bunratty Road.”
“Other organisations receiving core funding include Doras Buí Parents Alone Resource Centre on Bunratty Drive which is getting €241,363, while MPC Learning Tree Creche and Montessori School, based in St. Joseph’s School for the Visually Impaired on Grace Park Road, Drumcondra, will be allocated €212,814”.
“All of these community organisations will welcome the announcement of continued funding so that the vital services which they provide can be maintained. That the Minister for Social Protection, Eamonn Ó Cuív has maintained support grants for manager and fulltime employees at 2010 levels despite scarce resources, will also be greatly appreciated”.
