Fitzpatrick welcomes Minister Connick to Donadea Forest Park

Kildare North Fianna Fáil TD, along with his colleague, Minister of State, Áine Brady welcomed the Minister of State with responsibility for forestry to Donadea Forest Park this week for the launch of the RDS-Forest Service Irish Forestry Awards for 2010.

The Awards competition, organised each year by the RDS and funded by the Department of Agriculture promotes standards of excellence in the management of forests.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Fitzpatrick said,

“I was delighted to welcome Minister Connick to Donadea Forest Park as I believe it is a great example of a well run, accessible forest park that is enjoyed by local people and visitors to the area.”
