The East Wicklow CC Summer Barbeque will take place this Friday, 16th July from 8pm at the Glendalough Hotel.
It will be professionally catered by the hotel, with their purpose built facility. The hotel's main function room is adjacent, and is also available to us on the night, so people can choose to sit inside or outside.
The last time this event was held in 2008 when 220 members and supporters from all across the county attended. According to organiser John Byrne “It was a fabulous night; a real feelgood atmosphere and a great social occasion.” Minister Barry Andrews was the special guest on the night.
This is an excellent opportunity for members from cumainn all across Wicklow to come together, including Ogra members. Special guest for the night will be Minister for Community Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs Pat Carey.
Tickets cost €20 and are available by contacting John Byrne on 086 352 8503. To download the event poster click here.
