Local Fianna Fáil TD Frank Fahey has spoken with management from the Brothers of Charity in Galway today to assure them that every effort is being made to minimise the impact of the cuts that are being made by the Health Service Executive.
“I have spoken with management from the Brothers of Charity to assure them that I am doing everything I can to ensure that the impact of cuts being made by the HSE is minimised as much as possible.”
“I been in touch with the Minister for Health and Children Mary Harney TD and the Taoiseach today to suggest that respite care and other front line services should not be reduced as a result of the cutbacks,” Deputy Fahey said.
